ISM2019 has a lineup of keynote speakers that will kick off each day of the conference sparking new perspectives, innovation and motivation to head back into the office with ideas to solve challenges and strategies to achieve goals.

Session Education Tracks


Over 70 sessions will fall under one of these tracks:

HOW-TO

Given the growing complexity in today’s marketplace, this track covers timely category content and insights that unlock hidden value while mitigating risk. Sessions will cover research, case studies and how-to examples.

SOURCING FOR VALUE

Presenters in this track will share insights, best practices and/or case studies on how they have driven value in either direct and indirect spend, managed stakeholders, executive teams and strategic suppliers for maximum impact.

PEOPLE

Sessions will cover insights and best practices on how to attract, develop and retain a diverse and global team.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Once a function formed to respond to negative commentary from activists and communities, Corporate Social Responsibility organizations have now found their niche in driving value for corporations. Sessions cover CSR-related topics or case studies, trends and/or research.

CHALLENGES

With the increasing pressure on wages, interest rates, oil and other commodities prices coupled with some potential macro-economic disruptions related to tariffs, volatility in currencies, and increasing amount of government debt represent real increasing challenges and potential risks for most organizations, this track covers creative ways to tackle the pervasive challenges impacting supply management professionals.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Following last year's successful digital track which focused on what it is and why digital transformation is so important, this year we are taking the next step and focus on the ‘how”. Sessions will cover implementation stories, strategies, tools and tips.

ISM MASTERY MODEL

Practical learning sessions that cover topics with supply management core competencies which includes business acumen, category management, cost and price management, negotiation, financial analysis, logistics management, sourcing, project management, quality management, risk, S&OP, Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Planning and Systems Capability and Technology.
